2024 Halloween Events You Can’t Miss in Fishers + Indy
Don’t just sit at home watching reruns of “Hocus Pocus.” Get out and hit these Halloween events in Fishers and beyond. Costumes? Mandatory. Good times? Guaranteed… Probably. We aren’t hosting any of them.
October is here, and Fishers + Indy are packed with Halloween events for every kind of ghoul and goblin. Whether you’re into spooky trails, trick-or-treating, or something a little different, we’ve got you covered.
From local favorites like Boo Bash to out-of-town thrills like the Wizard Express, this lineup has something for everyone. Some events are free, so there’s no excuse to miss out.

Music by Annie’s Jams and a Halloween costume contest. Come dressed in your Halloween best. As they say: if you got it, haunt it.
Peanut Butter and Jam’s Not So Scary SCARY Animal Show

Many people fear scary animals like spiders, snakes, and bugs. This Peanut Butter and Jam show (ideal for kids 1-7) encourages kids to not be “scared” of these very cool creatures.
For the Boo: Colts Halloween Party
Oct. 5 from 6-10 PM
Lucas Oil Stadium
Colts fans and their families are invited to South Street outside the stadium for trick-or-treating, special appearances, performances by the Colts Cheer + more. Admission is $5 but anyone under 17 is free. Tickets are required and can be downloaded through link above.
Children’s Museum Member Preview Party
Oct. 5 from 6:30-9:30 PM
$20/ person and kids under 2 are free
Are you a museum member? If so, take part in a preview of the Witch Way Road Trip, a costume contest, games, crafts and activities, Circle City Ghostbusters photo ops, and food and drink with cash bar.
Twilight Fright at the Children’s Museum
Oct. 12 from 6:30-9 PM
$20 for members/ $25 nonmembers
This tween event (suggested for kids 7-14) will take place at the Sports Legends Experience. Tickets include two trips down the Witch Way Road Trip, a live DJ, outdoor games, an arcade, appearances by USA Track and Field and Naptown Roller Derby athletes, Hot Box pizza, Kona Ice + more.

Tickets include a tour of the Witch Way Road Trip, a meal served up by friendly witches, a magic show, games, crafts and activities + a goody bag for the kids.

A magical 75 min journey to the wizarding world onboard the Nickel Plate Express! Learn some new spells and enjoy a butter beverage. Excursions depart from Platform 8 3/4 in Noblesville.

Leave the kids at home for this 21+ event at the Children’s Museum. Tix include the thrills of The Witch Way Road Trip, a costume contest, games, food & drink, and a chance to serve on a jury in The Verdict — an interactive mock trial to determine the fate of some misplaced spirits.

The Irvington Halloween Festival culminates with a street fair featuring 120 vendors, live music, and a costume parade. This is your final Halloween farewell to Historic Irvington.

Trick or Treat on the Rails Train
Oct. 26 at 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. and Oct. 27 at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
$32 for adults, $28 for children 12 and under
Try out trick-or-treating on the rails this year. Enjoy a 65 min journey down the historic Nickel Plate Road. Don’t forget your costume! Tickets also include apple cider.

Visit the zoo Wednesdays through Sundays until Oct. 31 for this Halloween event. In addition to special animal exhibits, there will also be a trick-or-treat trail, photo op pumpkin displays, themed rides and games.
Harvest Nights at Newfield’s begin 9/29 and runs through 11/2. Tickets are required for the spooky (not scary) spectacle of glowing gourds through Mischief Manor. Visit on a Tuesday or Wednesday for their “value night” to save some change.
Headless Horseman at Conner Prairie

Fire art performances, carnival rides, train rides thru a pumpkin patch with singing jack o’ lanterns, a tubing hill, corn mazes, fall sensory bins, a magic show, & live music.

A cross-country journey along Route 66 where participants try to make it to Boneyard Beach (includes “friendly” and “frightening” hours for varying age levels).

The train operates every Thursday – Sunday (based on ticket availability). Once you arrive in “PumpkinTown” via train car, you’ll enjoy carnival games, trick or treating, a magic show, s’mores, and fall themed- food and drinks.
