Clear the Shelters Adoption Event
The Humane Society of Hamilton County is trying to clear the shelters this upcoming August 24th. If you’re looking for a pup or cat, check out this program!
On Saturday, August 24th, the Humane Society for Hamilton County will take part in the annual Clear the Shelters adoption event to alleviate our ongoing capacity emergency.
In place of the traditional adoption fees, eligible animals will be just $10 in honor of Clear the Shelters’ 10th Anniversary. All adoptions include a free one-month supply of preventatives, spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccines, start bag of food, and wellness exam at a participating veterinarian. The first 50 families who walk through the door will receive a goody bag.
Things to know for the Clear the Shelters adoption event:
- Those interested in adopting or fostering a cat or dog can fill out an application in advance at hshcadoptions.com.
- All members of the household, canine and human, are required to meet potential dogs – bring everyone!
