Supply chain engineers coming to Fishers

miebachmeme

One big thing: A big supply chain consulting firm is moving its HQ to Fishers and promising job creation.

Miebach’s move brings them to The Link (ex-Navient building. The huge building near 116th/69). They promise it will bring ~22 high-paying jobs and $2.5 million in capital investment to Fishers. But they aren’t the only ones promising investment:

  • A $77,000 matching grant for training new employees from Fishers.
  • An incentive-based tax credit of $425,000 from the IEDC. To claim, they need to hire Hoosiers (it’s performance-based too)

Dry spell

Queue the music 🔼 The last real rain we’ve had was August 14th. This dry spell is at 20 days and counting. The next ten days will be much of the same sunny weather… with Wednesday possibly breaking the streak.

☀️ In August, we lost ~1 hour of daylight. Expect to lose another 1 hour 14 minutes this month.
