Fishers Margaritaville

Ever heard of “Buffett Parkway” in Fishers, Indiana? In the 80s, a golden opportunity presented itself to John L. Cox (a Fishers Police Officer). Hamilton County had a no-repeat rule for street names. So as a Buffett superfan, he joked about naming a street after the singer to the right people.

Well, it happened. And Cox was able to personally hand Jimmy a copy of the street sign. All thanks to Cox, the first sign ever named after Buffet is in Fishers. Read John’s full story here.
