The Digest
📚️ Schools stacking up
One big thing: Fishers and HSE did not make the top 10 schools in Indy this year 😢
The USN ranks high schools through college readiness, test scores, and more. Some internet digging shows between 2012-2020 (all I could find) Fishers always ranked in the top 10 of state schools. Here’s the current rankings:
- Fishers is 11th in the state. 740 nationally
- HSE is 13th in the state. 893 nationally
In other school news: K-8 are no longer allowed at high school events without adult supervision. Spokespeople for the school say this is for safety reasons.
1.7 million in donations
Round Room is the largest Verizon-authorized retailer. They’re also based right here in Fishers. This week, they surprised 7 non-profits with over 1.7 million in donations. Why? They couldn’t pick just one 😆 Here’s the list that received the donations: DREAM Alive, 100 Black Men of Indianapolis, 91 Place, Ben’s Ranch Foundation, Coburn Place, Cocktails & Caregivers , and Trinity Haven.

Yappy hour
Happy hour for dogs! A DJ, games, and even burgers will be made especially for dogs by Shake Shack. You bet we’ll be there with our Golden and Vizsla.
