The Digest
A roundabout at 116th/Olio ⭕️
Two big projects were given millions in funding from the IMPO last week:
- A pedestrian bridge for the Nickel Plate Trail over Keystone Avenue at 49th Street
- A roundabout at 116th/Olio Road
Why do they want to build a roundabout at 116th/Olio? Safety. It might help with traffic too. The roundabout will have two lanes on each side, with three going north from the south.
Both of these projects have deadlines to be done by 2027. Which feels far away, but I’m sure it will be here before we know it.
2024 Tenderloin Tuesday is coming soon
It’s been a while since I had to dust off the ‘ol Tenderloin Signal.
Hamilton County’s 15th Annual Tenderloin Tuesdays are back from June 25th to July 30th. Every Tuesday, tenderloin sandwiches you order at the below restaurants will go towards your points to earning a free Tenderloin Tuesday shirt 😂
- CR Heroes
- FoxGardin Family Kitchen
- Murphy’s Pubhouse
- Pinheads
- Big Lug on the Prairie
- Sahm’s Restaurant
- The Roost
- Parks Place Pub
- Four Day Ray
- 101 Beer Kitchen
- King Jugg Brewing
- Bubba’s 33
FYI: A few friends and I completed this county tour last year and did not receive the shirt. Our guess is we did it too quickly and were tagged as cheating 🤣 So be chill and do it over the course of the month!
