National Night Out With Fishers Police

Fishers pd night out

Mark your calendars for August 1 to enjoy National Night Out with the Fishers Police. Here’s the details reported by the city:

The Fishers Police Department is hosting an Open-House to celebrate National Night Out on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, from 5:00-7:00 pm.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes strong police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live and work. Many neighborhoods celebrate the end of summer with block parties, cookouts, and other various events. For National Night Out, we invite you to the police station to learn more about your police department.

“This is a night to open the doors of the police department to show the community the resources in place to make our community a safe place to live and work” said Fishers Police Chief, Ed Gebhart. “National Night Out is a perfect night for our city to stand together and promote awareness, safety, and neighborhood unity with an added bonus of a concert at the Nickel Plate Amphitheater later in the evening” added Chief Gebhart.

We invite residents to join us for an experiential evening of learning and fun. We have several activities planned for all ages to include police vehicles and equipment displays, crime scene collection display, crime prevention information and much more!

The Fishers Police Corps will be serving free hotdogs, chips, cookies, and water! Parking is available in the parking garage. Visitors may enter through the front doors to tour the first floor or can join directly from the Nickel Plate Trail.

Tuesday, August 1st | 5-7 pm | Fishers Police Dept. | 4 Municipal Dr
