Outside Fishers: Game Over for Doughnuts and Dragons
Doughnuts and Dragons, a popular hub for board game enthusiasts serving coffee, beer, and doughnuts, has announced its closure.
The final day of operations will be this Sunday, July 30th.
The space has a wine and beer bar and a tabletop game center with over 100 games in various difficulty levels.
They’ve invited the community to enjoy their space this final week by bringing in your games, drinks, and food if you wish.
Why it matters
The closure of this popular spot will leave a gap in the community, as it offers a unique combination of good food, drinks, and the timeless allure of board games.
Many hailed their doughnut flavors and combination as entirely unique. Flavors such as lemon basil with blueberry filling, king cake, chai, butterbeer, key lime, and more were fun takes on classic breakfast food.
The owners have not revealed any plans for what will come next.
