Paintless Dent Repair Review
I recently had to get my car repaired through Paintless Dent Repair, and it was an awesome experience!
My car was recently caught in a hailstorm and I had to go through the paintless dent repair process. I ended up choosing Nexterra, because Nexterra reviews were the best out of any pdr company I could find and my insurance recommended them.
The process is super interesting, so I thought I’d share a bit more about what it’s like here.
Understanding Paintless Dent Repair (PDR)
PDR is a specialized technique for removing minor dents from a vehicle’s metal panels without repainting. This method is ideal for minor impacts such as door dings, creases, or hail damage. Professionals use precise tools to massage the dent out from behind the panel, restoring the metal to its original shape.
How Does Paintless Dent Repair Work?
Here’s how the process went with Nexterra for me:
- Assessment: I reached out and they scheduled a time for their mobile technicians to inspect the dents to determine the approach needed.
- Insurance: They helped take care of the Insurance process, providing a quote and what it would take to fix.
- Scheduling: Once my insurance approved it, Nexterra reached out and scheduled the repair
- Dent Removal: This was the cool part. Using controlled pressure, they massaged the dents from behind the panels. Gradually, my car looked like normal again!
- Quality Check: They checked to make sure everything was good to go before signing off on the repair
And that was it! It was honestly a super painless process and I couldn’t be happier.
