How to Play Pickleball This Winter in Fishers

Here is a quick and easy guide to playing Pickleball this winter in Fishers Indiana. If the nets are somehow up, these are the best places to outdoors. In order:

  • Cyntheanne Park. People drive from downtown Indy to play here.
  • Holland park

But since almost no one plays outside in the winter. Here are good places to play indoors during the winter:

  • Lifetime Fitness at Castle Creek has beginner leagues all the way to advanced. The newest beginner clinic starts Dec 13th
  • Community Sports and Wellness in Pendleton also has beginner leagues. And some other fun programs like “cardio Pickleball”
  • Zip City downtown has a massive amount of courts and a beginner league starting December 14th.
  • IRC has some courts but they aren’t as “all-in” on pickleball like the others mentioned

During the Spring – Fall, you can sign up for lessons through the Play Fishers activity catalog. They take over 2 of the courts at Cyntheanne park and the group sizes are usually 8-20 people per lesson. The lessons are provided through Team Witsken Pickleball. The owner, Rick, is the number 1 40+ men’s singles and doubles player in the US. You learn from the best and they are very worth it.
