This article is 189 words – a 1-minute read.

It’s National Pickleball Day. It’s a Big Dill.

The fastest-growing sport in America has its own holiday — and it’s never been a better time to get started!

With plenty of warm months ahead, we’ll break down the hype and get you going in Fishers.

Already a seasoned pro? Leave us a tip, and we’ll update this article for all our new friends.

How to play today

Fishers Parks has set up a few free public courts.

Del Webb’s Britton Falls’ 50-and-over community also has a dedicated club.

If you’re looking for a bit more challenge, go to Cyntheanne Park. They have special courts for advanced players.

Never played? Here’s the best coach in Fishers

Meet Coach Paul!

Paul is the GOAT (Greatest of All Time) when it comes to pickleball coaching.

He coaches all levels of players and classes, and if you’ve ever wondered who’s organizing the play at Cyntheanne’s beginner courts — it’s him!

To get started, go to the Fishers Parks Activity Board here and then Adult Activities > Pickleball.

Here’s how the classes are broken down:

  • Level 1 is a player who has never played or played a handful of times and would like to learn basic skills, scoring, and drills.
  • Level 2 is a player who knows the basics, needs improvement with mechanics, and is interested in learning all aspects they can play comfortably and eventually in a tournament.
  • Level 3 is for experienced players who want to excel in all facets of the game and sharpen their skills.

If you sign up for some classes, let Paul know how you found out about him!

In case it’s needed, this isn’t a sponsored post or section. It’s a recommendation from a friend  🤝
