The Digest

🇺🇸 Fishers Flag Crawl

I rarely come across a business model and think, “Yeah, this is it.” Brotherhood Designs is one of them. Two local firefighters thought instead of wasting materials and filling our landfills, they would make art. How? By taking old firehoses from fire stations and repurposing them into American Flags.

These patriots have worked with local businesses to display some of these flags all across the city for their #FishersFlagCrawl. There are six in total:

  • Ale Emporium
  • FoxGardin Family Kitchen
  • Parks Place Pub
  • Whites Ace Hardware
  • Hub & Spoke Building
  • King Jugg Brewing Co

To complete the crawl and get a free shirt: Go to 3/6 businesses above, take a pic, tag them on Instagram, and boom. Free shirt and challenge completed. Then check their site to claim.

Gary Harris x Koda Witsken

garyharrisxkodawitsken

Brooks School Park is getting two new basketball murals. Koda Witsken, who most recently did one at Alderman Automotive, is the artist on this project. Gary Harris, who plays for the Orlando Magic, will sponsor it. Both Koda and Gary graduated from HSE in 2011 and 2012. So you could say it’s a few hometown heroes putting this together.

On May 18, the city will host a 3×3 basketball tournament for ages 16 and older and a 3-point competition for ages eight and older. Sign up to play in these here.
